Coal Oil and Gasoline Inspectors Commissions, 1926-1936.

Consists of two volumes of records reflecting the appointment of commissions for Coal Oil and Gasoline Inspectors by Governors Henry Horton and Hill McAlister. The commissions read that the position of Commissioner was authorized "under Chapter 12 and 349, Act of 1899, and Chapter 33, Acts of 1917." The volumes were maintained by the secretary of state and bound. Commissions were entered in the volumes numerically with an alphabetical index.
